012. I Don't Love You...

YAYYY, C'est finalement vendredi <3 I have no idea why but this week has been awful!!

This week started out really shittily. I spent the whole weekend feeling really ill, and didn't really do any of my hwk until late Sunday evening, which meant that I didn't finish most of my work til just gone 11, and even then, I had only half written up my essay. When I awoke on Monday I felt 10 times worse, but I reallly had no choice to do anything but go in because at the moment I think I'd find it really hard to catch up on all the lessons that I missed -- especially seeing as I have 5 lessons and a test period two, which I would have to do regardless. The worst thing was though that the only girl in my maths class [I do double maths, and there are only 8 of us and although I get along with the other 6 boys, that don't exactly go out of their ways to help me!!] was off ill because she had a 'bad cold'. IT ANNOYED ME SOOOOO MUCH, especially seeing as the week before she was like 'Oh, I hate it when people miss schools because of colds' -- hypocrite much?! That's just another rant reallyy xD Oooooh, I also finnaalllyyyy got my C1 exam mark backk -- I managed to get an A!!! And I was the second highest in the class, only 3% behind Rob -- GRRR ONE DAY I WILL BEAT THAT BOYY AT SUMMIIINNN!!!! xD Not that I'm competitive or anythingg... honestt!!

When I woke up on Tuesday, I didn't really feel too much better, but I was like 'I've really gotta go in.' The first lesson which I had was Mechanics and we got our mock tests back from the day before. I was completely annoyed with my marks -- I got a U. I've never ever ever ever got that low before!! On the plus side [if you can call this a plus side] everyone else's grades were around the same mark and I was the third highest out of the 8 of us! Then I had French where I got shouted at for being crap at French and for learning all my vocab. Gawd, how I hate that teacher! Hmm, can't really remember too much else happening -- OH GAWD yeah. Every week I get twenty minutes one to one with the French assistant, and we basically have little conversations about things which could come up in my mocks and I hate it because my French really, really isn't very good at all! But yeah, because my friend was still off ill, she usually has her 20 minutes before me so I decided that it would be easier if I went during that time rather than mine own and the woman decided to speak to me the whole way through my time as well, I was likee GRRR!! xD

Wednesday was odd. I got to school to discover that my French teacher was doing Year 11 mocks, so we didn't have her. Then I had Core maths, then Chem where we watched the teacher do a kind of fractional distilliation on fake crude oil, which resulted on him burning though a rubber tube and sending the stuff all over the placee -- tres marrant! Thenn I got to Stats fourth to find out that the teacher was giving us extra time on a test we did last week, and so as soon as we finished that -- which I did in like 15 minutes -- she let us go back to the common room. Then I had a free last anyway, and my critical teacher wasn't in, so I only had likee 2 lessons, it rawkkedd!!

Thursday was quite similar, both of my French teachers were doing Year 11 mocks and my Chem teacher was on a course. And then we had Critical Thinking after school, which was kinda dossy. I mean, I just sat there and doodled allll over the cover of my pad of paper whilst I listened to two boys arguing like normal, sometimes I wonder why the rest of us bother going, no-one else can ever get a word in edgeways! Gahh, and the girl I walk to school with really pissed me off, because she kept really moaning about one of the boys [he has aspergers] and she kept saying, 'God, does he ever shut up? It's really annoying I can't concentrate. I wish he'd stop going,' which I thought was really, really harshh! I mean afterall, he can't help what he's like. I mean, he has been in my classes since Year 9, but I'm not sure what she's complaining about, she only spends two hours a week with him, I have to spend all of my Chemistry lessons with him, and in a majority of them I sit next to him!! He's also in my form... I really can't get away from him! xD

Today, wasn't too bad, I s'pose! I had triple maths which wasn't too bad -- our teacher brought in fizzy drinks and cakes for us for our second period lesson which was really good because we ate and drank whilst we did a past paper! xD And in our lesson fourth period, we split into two teams and we raced to see who could get the most points for a load of past questions -- and guess who's team wonn??? Okayy, we did cheat slightlyy, but who cares? xD Hmm, my chem teacher also wasn't in third, so I spent that chatting to my old bestfriend from primary school -- which was fun! Then last we had French, which confuzzled my brain as usuall!!!! Oh, I am doomed to really, really, really fail that subject no matter hard I try with it! I also had to go shopping this evening in order to buy my mum some birthday presents for next Sunday, but we bought like nothing because none of us lot know what to buy her -- even my dad didn't and he expected us to!! GRRR xD

010. God, I'm awful at this!

Woah... I rarely update this thing... it'd probably be better for me if I did... I really do bottle things up to much for my own good! Although, tbh, I've not really been up to a great deal recently, apart from school - which sucks as usual.

Hmm, Mondayy was pretty dodgyy this week. First period I had to finish the questions from the assessed practical we did last week and guess which blonde spent her time she'd put aside for revision chatting to people on MSN, so forgot to look through how to do the calculations for calculating what base I used for creating the standard solution I then titrated... and I'm 99% sure that I got the end calculation completely and utterly wrong!
Then second period that day, I went into Stats to find out that the teacher had made us a surprise test, well thankyeww miss, just what I wannted! So yeah, my whole class skipped like all of the questionsss so she'll probably kill us on Wednesday. Not that I overly care, because I hate her and she's really incapable of teaching because she has the whole attitude of 'I'm right, okay, I don;t care if you don;t think I am, I am' and when we checked with another one of our maths teachers guessed who was right? Us lot.
Not a lot else happened I don't think... just nearly froze to death because the sixth form block doesn't know the definition of heating!

Tuesday was odd, it started off really well... I had French first and we're started to learn about the internet etc. and the funniest part is that our teacher is quite old so she's like 'you're going to have to teach me what I'm teaching you' xD So she made the people in the class explain to her what a blog was and she was like 'What is the point... you may as well... well not bother!' Bless her... I think we may be starting Facebook tomorrow, what fun that'll be!
Hmm, oh then I had the French Assistant... and gawd I hate her and I was having an awful day, I had paid so much attention during proper french to the point that when it got to seeing her I'd used up my French, so she got all stressy with me ><
Then we had a mock maths exam, which I had barely revised for and then my teacher had a mega stress at the whole class about the lack of work we complete blahblahblah. Which I have a feeling was aimed quite a lot at me, I had her last year so she knows that I know I can get away without completing the hwk for her and I have quite a relaxed attitude towards her lessons.
On teh plus side, I spent my free playing Unoo.... and it was hilarious :P

Yesterdayy was boring. Can't recall anything decent happening... I had 6 lessons... that was it! :P

Today just sucked though!! We had the day off timetable to do a stupid beliefs day - it was all to do with the EU and last focus day I was in a fairly decent group and we did sod all. But today the teacher we ended up with was likee 'your group is very girl orientated' so made me and my friend change to the other group... so I ended up with a boy who wanted us to complete all the work... GRR! xD The task we had to do was what we would pass lawise as the UK and via email we got all the things we had to agree on. The boy then designated us jobs/opinions we were meant to give. I ended up with having to be the British public so I had great fun being as closed minded as possible! And thus wrote opposing views to everything I honestly believed xD And we managed to complete all of the work within like 2/3s of the time so spent the last bit playing cards, which kinda rawkkedd, seeing as we were playing Cheat and no-one picked up that I was lying all of the time!!! It was goood ^^ Oooh, we had a speaker first as well, and she was a politician, so the whole of the year we like attacking her for everything she was saying, it was hilarious!
I also had critical thinking afterschool, which was good because there was only 7 of us and because of focus day I was in a really vocal mood and I was sitting in between two people to whom I don't really like and had quite opposing views to, so I got to argue with them by having an actual reason to do so! LOL

Currently, I'm planning on writing about a group of 4 sisters who realise that they're developping special powers. Somewhere during the book they meet a vampire couple who have just had twins, probably a boy and girl. The jobs of the sisters are to protect these twins from any evil that tries to harm them!

Firstly, wow! I seriously am unable to believe that it is already the first of November, where in the world has 2008 disappeared to? I can honestly remember standing at the New Years Party saying that I was actually going to be constructive this year... that certainly has gone out of the window!
Yeah, I've got a new layout... I really wasn't sure I liked the red of the old one, because I've never truly like that colour! This one is made by the same person as the old one. I spent quite a while making the banner though, and I absolutely adore it!! Minus the text... but I've never like doing text, so oh well!
It's almost the end of half term. I really also have no idea were this week has gone. I promised myself that I would get up to date with all my homework [not done], post my prosperity challenge [not done], and probably numerous other things! What I do know is that if I get my butt in order today, I can get have all of tomorrow for NaNoing, yay!

003. Just A Rant

Just a small rant about school...

Gah! Do you know what, I think I hate school. I am seriously fed up of it already and the novelties that came with being in sixth form are definately beginning to wear off. I am just finding school soooo draining! We've only been back, what, 3 weeks and I'm already back to feeling like I'm dying... I'm constantly tired, no matter how much sleep I get, I always, always have homework to be done because every single one of my teachers believes that you need like an hours worth of homework from an hours lesson. Even though I am absolutely loving the subjects I took [Double Maths, Chemistry and French] I do feel a bit overwhelmed.
-Firstly with Double Maths when we first started back I got completely lost with the core work, the work which is 'only higher GCSE thus very, very easy.' I have come to the conclusion that the only reason that I found it difficult was because I was having such a hard time adjusting back to the routine of school are four months without lessons, understandable right? However, now that I've finally tuned into the ways that my maths teachers teach and thus actually understand what I am being taught, I have something like 30 hours of maths work in which I shall have to go over again in my own free time because I want to be able to pass the C1 module exam I sit in January, rather than have to resit it again in fricking June, which is apparently what everyone does -- what is the fricking point of sitting an exam if you're only planning to fail it that time and decide to resit it later on? It bewilders me.
-Chemisty I absolutely adore. I have no idea why but I just have an absolute love for that subject -- a love that I didn't even lose during the period of last year where we rushed through our GCSE course at like 300x faster than we meant to have done so I understood, like, zilch. Although there is a big downside to chemistry - I have the same teacher that I had last year and for some reason I just don't like him. Actually it isn't just 'for some reason' its because he has a fricking tendency to call me stupid, no not actually call me stupid, rather that he implies that I am, which I s'pose is understandable, I spent a vast majority of last year with him going 'Siiiiiirrrrr, I reallly, really, reallllyyyy don't get this.' But ya know, it was kinda expected - we were rushing through the course and there was the fact that my brain was preoccupied with things such as completing cwk, completing hwk, passing my GCSEs... Oh well, I shall live with that one.
-I swear both of my french teachers are out to kill me with French hwk overload, tonight is actually the first night in the past week where I am not going to spend 2-3 hours trying to do the homework. And one of our teachers expects us to spend 30 minutes every single fricking day . Gah!!
Well, I s'pose that's enough of a rant for now...

So, yeah I've had this thing since when, the beginning of June? And I've posted, well, nothing of any great detail at all! Although, to be honest, I have nothing very interesting to say now. I just thought that I should post these absolutely dodgy icons somewhere and as my friend lmp_negative mentioned earlier, that LJ is a brilliant place to post them, I decided that I'd listen to her et voila!
